GTA’s proposed Pheasant Run Preserve is in Baldwin, Maryland, a rural and mostly agricultural portion of Baltimore County. Located in the headwaters of the Gunpowder River, the 71-acre property is zoned agricultural and protected by a Rural Legacy Easement held by Baltimore County and Long Green Conservancy. Thirty-two acres of the farm is being actively restored, returning over 20 acres of wetlands and 5,000 feet of functional headwater streams to the property. GTA anticipates serving as the long term steward of these important restored habitats that will help provide clean drinking water to residents in Baltimore City and County.
